Ground Breaking for New Evangelization Center

dig2.JPGWith great joy we welcomed Bishop Rozanski at the 9:30 am Mass on May 1st.   He blessed the site of our New Evangelization Center and turned a shovel of dirt. Things are moving along very nicely with our constructions.    At the end of this Easter Octave I find it very appropriate and providential to have our groundbreaking.  It reminds me of our Easter Gospel when Matthew mentions the earthquake split the ground and the tombs opened.  From this now torn open ground a new building will emerge, a new center that will give to our parish continued new life and new opportunities.  There are signs all around us this spring proclaiming new life.  Let us look at this soon to be hole in the ground as a glorious sign of the resurrection and the new blessing upon our parish!  Fr Matt

Planning for the New Evangelization Center began seven years ago, under the leadership of then pastor Fr Michael Jendrek. The new multi-functional, mutli-purpose facility will be shared for parish and community education, fellowship, and ministry.
