The facilities committee inspects and identifies safety and maintenance issues for the parish campus.  The committee is established by the pastor, and reports are provided to the Pastoral Council.  Committee members assist with developments of the New Evangelization Center (NEC) as needed.

Individuals, usually appointed by the pastor, meet as needed to inspect and identify safety and maintenance issues for each individual building, and the overall campus. The team prioritizes needs and makes recommendations to the pastor for needed repairs. Interested volunteers, especially those with construction, environmental and safety backgrounds are always welcome and encouraged to serve.

Purpose:

To perform periodic visits to each facility on campus.  Any concern regarding safety, environmental, structural, or other issues are reported to the pastor.  Upon request, the committee can perform research, get estimates, formulate pros and cons, prioritize needs and repairs, and make recommendations to the pastor.

Membership:

While the chairperson of the facilities committee is appointed by the pastor, interested volunteers, especially those with construction, environmental, and safety backgrounds are always welcome and encouraged to serve.
