The St. Paul's Prayer Shawl Ministry

The St. Paul's Prayer Shawl Ministry gathers parishioners together in prayer and charity to be the hands of Jesus in our world. The members reach out to their fellow-parishioners by knitting and crocheting prayer shawls to wrap the ones who wear them in love. The recipients of the shawls may be people undergoing medical treatment, grieving the loss of a loved one or in need of special love and support during a difficult time in their lives.
Monthly meetings are held to work together on the shawls; participants work independently at home between gatherings. Please watch the weekly bulletin for date and time of the next meeting.

Pastoral Visitors
Pastoral V isitors are committed parishioners who minister to their fellow parishioners by visiting the sick and homebound.
On the first Sunday of the month, the Pastoral Visitors are sent forth from the Masses to take Eucharist to those who are unable to attend Mass on a short or long-term basis.
Fr. Matt and the Pastoral Visitors pray with and bring the Sacraments to the Somerford Place Assisted Living community on a regular schedule. Communion services, anointing of the sick, praying the Rosary and individual visits remind the residents that they are a special part of our Church family.
