There are four choirs at St. Paulʼs. The Adult Traditional Choir rehearses on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. from September through May and sings at the 11:30 a.m. Mass from September through June. They also sing during Holy Week, on Thanksgiving, at Midnight Mass on Christmas, on Holy Days, and on other special occasions.
The Junior Choir rehearses on Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. from October through Easter. They sing at the 5:00 p.m. Mass once a month through April and at the 4:00 p.m. mass on Christmas Eve. Boys and girls in the second grade or older are welcome to participate.
The Funeral Choir sings at funeral liturgies which are usually held on weekday mornings (at St. Paul's, St. Mark's, and occasionally the Church of the Resurrection).
The Contemporary Choir sings on Sundays at the 9:30 a.m. Mass from September through June, one Sunday in July and August, Christmas Eve, and as requested. Rehearsals are usually held on Thursdays at 7:30 pm in the Church. Because this is a family-friendly ministry, attendance is not required at each Mass or rehearsal but it is encouraged. Members who wish to play an instrument with the choir are asked to speak with the contemporary choir director.
This ministry requires the ability to navigate steps to the choir loft.
