Inclement Weather Closing Policy

It's that time of year again --  St. Paul's CLOSING / CANCELLATION POLICY If Howard County schools are closed, then all events, including daily Mass, are cancelled. If the opening of Howard County schools is delayed, then daily Mass is cancelled, and the office will open at the same time as the schools.   If Howard County schools are closed but the school district’s offices are open, the parish office will be open. The 63rd U.S. National Rosary Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place June 22—July 1, 2017.  This pilgrimage is accompanied by a medical staff, clergy, and volunteers to assist the needs of the pilgrims and is open to all. Our sister parish, Hamoong parish in Vietnam, needs our help!  Some of he parish’s land has been taken by the government for a hydroelectric project, and the parish has been given vacant land in Dak Wot Yop.  New facilities will have to be built from the ground up, once the building permit is granted.  Fr. Joseph has asked us to fund the construction of “a small basic house where children can go and study bible.”   Our goal is to raise the $2,300 needed for this project.  On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day a large, marked box will be in the narthex to receive contributions to...

This December 10th and 11th at 7:30pm the Shrine of St. Anthony will again hold its Greccio Living Nativity to celebrate the coming of the Christmas Season.  The Nativity Scene is a deep tradition within the Franciscan order dating back to when St. Francis popularized it in a little town called Greccio.  Our Living Nativity is located at our hay barn and features carols, adoration, and refreshments.  There is no charge for this event.  For more info check our website at www.ShrineofStAnthony.org or call 410-531-2800.
