Inclement Weather Policy

First and foremost, please use your own best judgement as to whether you can attend Mass or other events at St. Paul or Church of the Resurrection safely. When in doubt, please err on the side of caution. 

For Weekday 8:00AM Daily Mass: If Howard County School/Resurrection-St. Paul School is delayed or closed, the daily Mass at St. Paul will be moved to the Chapel at Church of the Resurrection. 

For Saturday 8:00AM morning Mass, ​since the schools systems will not be in session, if ​is snowing steadily by 7:00AM, Mass will ​be in the Chapel at Church of the Resurrection and NOT at St. Paul. 

The office will only close with significant snow fall or icy conditions, staff employees are encouraged to use their best judgement for their safety to determine if they will come to work that day. On those occasions when the office is closed a notice will be posted on the parish website. 

When Howard County Public Schools close early or are closed due to the weather, our Religious Education classes are automatically cancelled.  There will be a notice on our website, a message through Flocknote and a message on the DRE's voice mail (410-461-0601).  You will not receive a call from your child’s catechist.
