Altar servers are members of the St. Paul Church community who learn the order of the Mass and assist the priest with grace and reverence. Youth in fourth grade and up are encouraged to consider serving. Altar servers are typically scheduled to assist at the weekend Mass of their choice about 2-3 times per month and on Holy Day of Obligations.
Scheduling is managed through a shared on-line calendar, MSP. This ministry requires the physical ability to navigate the stairs to the sanctuary (raised platform where the altar and tabernacle are located.)

Meets: as necessary, after school or on weekends. Two training sessions are scheduled once a year or as needed.
Cantors for St. Paul should be 16 years or older, the cantors lead the congregation in all sung music during Mass.
St. Paul has the weekend Church Choir and the Funeral Choir.
The St. Paul Church Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. from September through Mid-June and sing at the 11:00 a.m. Mass from September through Mid-June, ending on Corpus Christi. The Choir also sings during Holy Week, on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve at 10:00 p.m., on Holy Days, and on other special occasions.
The Funeral Choir sings at funeral liturgies which are usually held on weekday mornings and on a few Saturday.
These music ministres requires the ability to navigate steps to the choir loft.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, assist the priest and deacon in the distribution of Holy Communion to fellow parishioners at all Masses. Training is provided and ministers can serve at the Mass of their choice, usually once per month. Scheduling is conducted using a shared on-line calendar, MSP.
Volunteers must also have a special reverence for the Consecrated Body and Blood of Christ. This ministry requires appropriate dress and demeanor. Those volunteering in this ministry must:

Lectors proclaim the Word of God through sacred scripture at each weekend Mass throughout the year. Lectors typically serve once every four to six weeks at the Mass of their choice and scheduling is coordinated using a shared on-line calendar.
This ministry requires appropriate dress and demeanor. Volunteers must have a special reverence for the sacred scripture, and be at least 16 years old. There are no regular meetings for the Lectors, although attending an annual training session is required.
Lectors are required to be VIRTUS trained and the ability to navigate the stairs to the altar.

Couples wishing to enter into the Sacrament of Matrimony must first be prepared. A mentor couple works with the engaged couple on this journey to understand elements of a sacramentally married life. The couples meet four times before the wedding, covering topics of discussion that are established as part of the approved preparation program.
